Our strategic objectives

The Center for Telemedicine in Region Midtjylland, established in 2012, plays a pivotal role in fostering innovation and advancing the reach of telemedicine and telehealthcare within the region.

With a primary ambition to drive a digital transformation in the healthcare system of Denmark, the center focuses on implementing and promoting cutting-edge telemedicine solutions. Through its initiatives, the center aims to create a more sustainable, cohesive, and interconnected healthcare system.

By leveraging telemedicine technologies, the center empowers patients to take charge of their own health, contributing to a future where healthcare is not only efficient but also patient-centered.

Facilitating the assessment, selection, and scaling of sustainable telemedicine and telehealthcare initiatives.
Serving as a knowledge forum for telemedicine and telehealthcare in the Central Denmark region and nationwide.
